The œSinensis is a vigorous climber that produces long, beautiful racemes of light-pink purple flowers. The main flowering season are towards the middle to end of spring and through the summer. The individual flowers are pea-shaped and bear a lovely fragrance which attracts a variety of pollinators like bees and butterflies.
It is a nitrogen-fixing plant and will replenish this nutrient back into the soil.
It is a deciduous, twining climber that is native to China. It is hardy to all colder temperatures in the UK.
