The Forgotten Cask is above all a whisky with a story. On May 2nd 2007, on the paradise island of St. Lucia, the St. Lucia distillery suffered a terrible fire that destroyed most of the buildings. In the rush, the cellar master moved the oldest casks to a safe and hidden place...So well hidden that the casks were forgotten! Recently found, the rum has been bottled under the name Forgotten Cask. Like the Original, this rum is a blend of aged rums distilled in coffey still and pot still. It has also been aged for between 6 and 11 years in Bourbon casks, giving it a complex and intense flavour.
