Don Julio's Tequila Reposado is the essence of a barrel-aged tequila. Aged for 8 months in Bourbon casks, instead of the 6 months required by the reposado tradition, this version is incredibly smooth and indulgent.
Made from fresh, hand-harvested agave, this tequila is distilled twice. After distillation, it is bottled and then placed in barrels where it is aged for 8 months allowing it to develop unparalleled cooked agave flavours.
Tasting notes
Colour: Amber with elegant golden highlights.
Nose: A nose with bewitching notes of citrus, sweet lemon, spices and a hint of ripe stone fruit.
Palate: The palate offers incredibly soft and elegant notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and light cinnamon.
Finish: Incredibly silky, the finish is warm and fruity with apple and dried fruit such as walnut before a touch of caramel s the tasting.
