- Description
"Luminous spiced sweetness surges from storm-tossed layers".
Talisker distillery
This Single Malt whisky is a representation of the perfect balance between salty and smoky, fruity and spicy, land and sea. Its flavors are shared between the unleashing of a storm at sea and the smoke of a fire that is lit to warm up.
An 11 year old single malt that will please all whisky lovers.
Tasting notes
Nose: sweet with light sea salt notes.
Palate: a nice smooth texture, with a mixture of spicy, smoky and fruity. And always in the background, a maritime note.
Finish: long and spicy, warming with peppery notes.
Talisker Distillery
Founded in 1830 on the edge of the Skye mountain range by two brothers: Kenneth and Hugh MacAskill. This distillery has had a very eventful history with many twists and turns and many owners. Today, it belongs to the Diageo company like many other Scottish distilleries. It is famous for producing rather oily whisky, and single malt with a peaty character.
