- Description
A Lorraine whisky with a strong character
Whisky G-Rozelieures
Rozelieures is a distillery located on the edge of the Vosges mountains in Lorraine. All Rozelieures whiskies are single malt , that is, produced from a single malt and only from malted barley . The variety of malting barley used is grown on the estate.
This whisky is the first whisky produced in Lorraine . It is distilled in two passes and then aged in oak barrels that have previously held wines from the Sherry region. These barrels give this whisky lively, spicy and powerful notes, the signature of a great whisky with a very long finish.
The result is a peaty single malt with a powerful nose and notes of dried flowers as well as fruity notes on the palate . Its color is relatively pale.
